OPERATION & MAINTENANCE
Solar power project maintenance can help maximize uptime and extend the life of the plant. Proper servicing is a critical component to ensuring good performance while minimizing the risks of downtime and for the smooth delivery of solar power without any disruption. A well-maintained solar power installation can actually perform 10 to 30% better than the one that is not.
As such, our solar power systems require very minimal maintenance. But in case you need any assistance with the maintenance of your previously installed solar power plant, we will be happy to sign an Annual Maintenance Contract with you as well, at very reasonable rates.
1. Preventive maintenance
Inspection, testing, cleaning, and preventive maintenance and/ or corrective repairs and replacement are carried out, as a part of good manufacturing practices in order to prevent breakdowns and unnecessary production losses. This approach is becoming increasingly popular because of its perceived ability to lower the probability of unplanned PV system downtime.
These services primarily include Panel Cleaning, Vegetation Management, Upkeep of Power Generation System like inverters etc.
2. Corrective or reactive maintenance
This addresses equipment repair needs and breakdowns after their occurrence and, as such, is instituted to mitigate unplanned downtime. Though a certain amount of reactive maintenance will likely be necessary over the course of a plant’s 20-year lifetime, it can be lessened through more proactive preventive maintenance and condition-based maintenance strategies where we anticipate failures and prioritize maintenance activities and resources.
3. Third party inspection
We not only give you the best solar solution but we also inspect the quality of your previously or newly installed plant. We help you to understand how your plant should work and how is it working and how can you improve its working. We will carry out inspections of your facilities, equipment and products, and audits of your systems and processes and ultimately grant a certified solution of your problem.
4. Monitoring and Maintenance
Using software and monitoring services to proactively pinpoint faults in a system can prove to be useful to assess the financial benefits of service and maintenance by weighing repair costs against the value of energy lost. For instance, some software can monitor systems in real time and even archive data for a minimum of 20 years. This allows system owners and plant managers to make intelligent decisions regarding O&M expenditures. Annual or biannual diagnostics and preventive maintenance can address any potentials issues and ensure the system will continue to perform as designed.
We can help you in this by:
Setting up data logging and remote monitoring systems that helps us and our clients to track the performance of our plants.
Tracking performance of all valuable assets of the project thereby ensuring that all components are operating at its peak efficiency.
Using our monitoring systems to also prompt preventive maintenance routines for the benefit of your business.
